Dr. Jamal Yousefi
Dr. Jamal Yousefi emigrated to the United States in 1986. He attended University of Maryland, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1990, followed by a Medical Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical School in 1994. He completed his general surgery residency at the same hospital, followed fellowship training in Plastic Surgery under the supervision of world reknowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Ian Jackson. He accomplished a further year of fellowship in microsurgery to enhance his surgical techniques.
Dr. Yousefi has been in private practice since 2000, and currently has offices in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Besides Plastic Surgery, he has a passion for self awareness and self improvement, and has been giving lectures and seminars on a variety of related topics. Every year, Dr. Yousefi and three more SIAHP member go on a charity mission to Columbia to perform surgeries on kids with cleft lip and palate deformities.
Iman has been a primary Patent Examiner at the US Patent and Trademark Office since 2012. He completed his Master of Public Health degree at UCLA in 2012. While working as a patent examiner, he was elected as a board member of the Health and Wellness Association at Patent and Trademark Office, a non-profit organization, with nearly 3000 members. As part of his service, Iman served on the budget and strategic committee. He also represented the association at the U.S. President’s Health and Wellness Council. The Association’s budget during his years of service was over $1,000,000 with $851,000 revenue in 2016. Mehri Bashiri, Pharm D., graduated from Howard University School of Pharmacy with professional doctorate degree in pharmaceutical medicine. She has worked in retail pharmaceuticals, as well as in the hospital setting as clinical pharmacists. She is a member of: the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP); an organization, which protects, promotes, and advances the art and skill of the compounding pharmacy profession among others. . Dr. Hamid Ryan Kazemi
Dr. Hamid Ryan Kazemi is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He is the founder and CEO of Kazemi Oral Surgery & Dental Implants and maintains a full time oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Bethesda, Maryland since 1997. He is also the founder of Facialart Dental Forum which offers worldwide continuing education. The Forum utilizes a unique approach that takes clinicians through a direct path to mastery.
Dr. Hamid Ryan Kazemi received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1990. Following a one-year internship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, he pursued surgical training at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where he received his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Kazemi has practiced in Bethesda, Maryland, since 1997, providing a full spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures with emphasis on extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and corrective jaw surgery.
He has served as the founder and president of several dental and implant study clubs in the Washington DC area. Dr. Kazemi lectures regularly on dental implants, bone grafting, tissue regeneration, and practice management. He publishes podcasts, videos, blogs, e-newsletters, and online articles.
Dr. Kazemi is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon and dentist for D.C. United, the major soccer league team in Washington, DC, and the US national soccer team for the care of their athletes. He is a passionate triathlete having completed more than 150 races, including five Ironman competitions.

Dr. Sanaz Daneshfar (Hamrah)

Dr. Daneshfar (Hamrah) is a board certified pharmacotherapist. She joined the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation (DAIT) of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institute of Health (NIH) as a Clinical Research Pharmacist since 2012. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University, Bouvé College of Pharmacy (Boston, MA) in 2001. In addition, Dr. Daneshfar received her board certification through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) in pharmacotherapy. She completed her residency training in clinical pharmacy with emphasis in infectious diseases and critical care at Jackson Memorial Hospital (Miami, FL). After her residency she became the clinical pharmacy coordinator at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida. While working as a clinical coordinator, she became an adjunct professor at University of Florida, Gainesville and NOVA Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she taught pharmacy students in their clinical rotations. Prior to joining the DAIT, she worked as a clinical consultant for AmerisourceBergen assisting hospital systems in managing drug formularies, medication use outcomes, patient safety, and protocol development based on evidence-based medicine as well as development of pharmacist-run Coumadin, Asthma, and Diabetes Clinics. As a previous operations manager at NOVA SurgiCare (an Oral surgery/ MedSpa private practice), Dr. Daneshfar assisted in establishing and growing this surgical center to a successful practice in less than 2 years; where she was able to utilize her knowledge and skills and learn a lot about private practice. Her passion is to establish institutional processes and procedures that results in more successful organizational outputs and business models in addition to significant cost savings. Dr. Zahra “Najma” Mohseni
Dr. Zahra “Najma” Mohseni is a neurosurgical nurse practitioner in neuroscience Institute at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia. She specifically works with two neurosurgeons who specialize in movement disorders, such as Parkinson’s Disease and epilepsy. She has over 20 years of experience in nursing with extensive involvement in patient education, staff development, critical care curriculum development, developing policies and procedures for Intensive Care Units.
She earned a bachelor degree in nursing in Tehran, Iran in 1993, a Masters degree in critical care clinical nurse specialist from Georgetown University in 2006. She completed a post-masters certificate as an acute care nurse practitioner in 2011. She earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from George Washington University in 2017,
Her study focus is on stroke in young adults. She has presented her research at local, national and international conferences. She is an active member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau (Phi Epsilon Chapter, honor society of nursing). She believes in disease prevention before cure and participates in multiple focus groups in northern Virginia to educate patients and the wider community in disease prevention and management.
